PARKINSON’S DISEASE TREATMENT WITH DEEP BRAIN STIMULATION : The Deep Brain Stimulation technique, which is applied in our contracted hospitals, is realized with the use of batteries, which are placed in the human brain with Parkinson's disease and provide an electrical current to the area where it is placed, and thus electrical stimulation or suppression of the cells in that area. With today's technology, batteries that can be charged externally and have a service life of up to 20–25 years are applied. A 10-year-old Parkinson's patient is brought back to the first years of his disease with a brain battery treatment. The disease does not disappear, but thanks to the battery, it is possible to significantly improve the motor symptoms of the disease and return the patient, who cannot live independently, to his daily activities.
